# Rolegend

> Rolegend is a solo Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition roleplaying game you play by writing, at https://www.rolegend.com. Keystone Engine enforces the rules. ROWAN narrates the world. Published by Nightshift Software.

## What it is

You write what your character does, in plain English. Two systems answer:

- **Keystone Engine** enforces the rules. It rolls every die, applies your modifiers, and tracks hit points, inventory, conditions, spell slots, rests and experience. The language model never touches the dice.
- **ROWAN** (Responsive Open-World Adventure Narrator) narrates the world. It is handed the result and writes what happens, plays every character you meet, and runs the world.

Play is asynchronous and by post. There is no live table, no scheduling, and no session that expires. A campaign waits for you.

## Who it is for

Someone who wants to play Dungeons and Dragons but cannot get four adults in a room on the same evening, or who has fifteen minutes rather than four hours. No rules knowledge is needed to start; ready-made characters are provided.

It is 18 and over, by an attestation the server enforces on every sign-in request.

## Featured campaign

**The Reclamation** - A directed opening into an open campaign, for levels 3-10. A man called the Cantor is reading names off a notched stick on the imperial road, and everything he reads gets up and walks. He needs nine. He has six. Stop him and the Sunderlands open: the dead heartland of a fallen empire, and the reason a realm died in a single night.
